Centering on the Medicine Horse is a nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching essential life skills through the transformative partnership between humans and horses. Our equine classes use horses as models. Participants learn life skills such as the communication principles of neuro-linguistics, which help them develop healthy communication patterns that support success in daily life. Through equine-assisted experiences, members gain tools to promote healing from trauma, reduce stress, and build emotional resilience. Participants learn to navigate life’s challenges with greater self-awareness, improved decision-making skills, and healthier relationships.

 Centering on the Medicine Horse, Inc. has partnered with Secrets of the Pros, Inc. to enhance and enrich the therapeutic equine experience through educational and experiential learning opportunities. Our home base is located at Flying Z Stables in Port Orange, Florida, though we travel to offer classes throughout Central Florida and other  locations.  Centering on the Medicine Horse welcomes individuals of all ages and backgrounds, including children, men, women, and veterans. Our equine therapy classes uses  the horse-human connection to  help participants develop healthier communication, reduce stress, heal from trauma, and build confidence for everyday life.
